Greetings! My name is Philip Byard, AKA, Dr. Mack Foxx. I'm into voice-acting, amateur film making, amateur animation and I am also a novelist. In addition, I am learning how to compose my own music.
My animations are mostly about a stop-motion cartoon series called "Tales From the Toy Chest", which focuses on the toys and action figures my brother, Aaron Byard AKA: Aaraboga Jones, and I have squired over the years. Not to mention the madcap adventures these toys end up having go through. :laughs:
I'm a big fan of Pokemon and especially of Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir and Gallade. In fact, I'm such a big fan of these four Pokemon that my fan-fiction series focuses primarily on their species.
You could label my stories' genre as Adventure/Sci-Fi/Comedy/Romance
However, I should point out that I'm not at all into the inappropriate garbage that has plagued the Ralts-line Pokemon. I think they deserve much better than that and I strive to keep all of my works clean.
My fan-fictions are quite lengthy, (Anywhere from 112 to 536 pages of single-spaced 12-point font) and I refer to these stories as "Fan-Novels".
So far, my Pokemon fan-fiction series exceeds 1,600 pages in total length (1682 to be precise, as of September 19 2010).
I will be posting one 15 to 27 page part of my stories each week, instead of simply posting all the parts to all of my stories at once since my fan-fictions are so lengthy.
My Music in a Flash Game!posted Jul 10th 2011, 3:02PM

Music: My "Industrial Ruins" Series of Original Songs
I think it's safe to say that I've taken a big step forward as a music composer as I ended up writing the entire soundtrack for a Flash game known as "Robots VS Zombies" (3 complete songs, 2 jingles). Got to do some level design for this game as well!
"Robots VS Zombies" is a tower defense game: and a rather good one, if you ask me. This game can be played on Newgrounds using this link: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/574375
If you do check out this game, I hope you enjoy it. :)
Indeed I am! I can't figure out how to submit my fan-fictions. In step 5 it asks for a "Submission file." There's is not specification on what exactly they want. The .DOC and a .TXT of my story certainly didn't fit the bill. Do I need to upload a JPEG with it or something? I'm just lost.
One other question: is there a character limit for writing here? My fan-fictions are practically novel-sized.
Thank you and I hope we can get these problems resolved soon. Thanks!
Thanks for the help. There was no file limit and the JPEG cleared everything up; however, there were some unforeseen problems. For some reason, the server here replaced all apostrophies and quotation marks with weird coding as well as replacing other punctuation with emoticons. This is really starting to get ridiculous. Do you know if people typically send their fan-fics here in HTML format?
I wonder what's with thier system that it does that? Oh, well. Thanks for all the help. It's gonna take a LONG time to code out my stories in clean HTML. Hopefully, it'll be worth the trouble.
